Catherine's Soul Food, Cakes and Catering – Authentic Southern Cuisine & Delicious Desserts in North Charleston, SC

Since the doors were opened, I have been visiting Catherine's Soul Food. Not only is their food wonderful and tasty, their level of customer service is also over the top! Their friendly faces are so welcoming because they are appreciative of their customers and they always strive for excellence! I have purchased several delicious meals at Catherine's to include Fried Shrimp, Ribs, Pork Chops, Fried Liver, Fried Gizzards, Seafood Lasagna, Seafood Rice, Catfish Nuggets, Red Rice, Potato Salad, Baked Macaroni, Cabbage, various flavors of Chicken Wings, and a variety of delicious sweets and treats; Yummy Cakes, Cheesecake, Banana Pudding, etc. I have recommended Catherine's to a lot of people and they are definitely return customers. I would also like to mention the cleanliness of their environment as well. That is also key for me. I work in close proximity of Catherine's, therefore, I am a witness to their extensive cleaning procedures. I am a little picky when it comes to eating away from home. As children, we were taught to not eat from everyone and from every establishment. As an adult, I still practice what we were taught as children. Catherine's Soul Food has passed all of my tests and I will continue to support this fine family for wonderful meals! If you are visiting the Northwoods Mall or if you are in the vicinity of North Charleston/Rivers Avenue, give Catherine's Soul Food a try for some wonderful food, great sweets and treats, a clean environment, and awesome customer service! I would name a favorite, but everything is equally tasty and yummy so I can't!!!!!

Food is AMAZING!! Staff is very friendly. Honestly this is the only reason I go into Northwoods mall. We have tried the chicken tenders, Fried Okra, Mac and Cheese, Red rice, Cabbage and Cornbread. If your craving a “home cooked” meal give it a try, you wont be disappointed!

I had the oxtail and rice with macaroni and cheese and cornbread it was really good finally another good soul food restaurant

I was in the mall shopping and I stopped by Catherine’s Soul food restaurant in Northwoods Mall. They are located next to Books A Million and Burlington. The food was season to perfection and cooked with love. I had the fried chicken (all flats) with Lima beans with smoked neck bones and pigtails over with rice and a pound cake. The pound cake was moist and sweet. The staff is SUPER friendly, helpful, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT I have a video of my food not a picture :

Came here to try Catherine South food restaurant in Northwoods Mall. They are located nearby the Books A Million. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I tried the fried pork chop dinner with red rice and the Mac and cheese. I also tried the strawberry lemonade with tasted very delicious. The food was seasoned and very delicious. The meal tasted like Sunday dinner at a family house. With the meal also came. A slice of pound cake which was moist and sweet.
